Hastings Castle has a wee foreign invasion, but not a problem, indeed, a Norwegian marching band will be performing at Hastings Castle from
10.30am this Monday, 27 June. The 25-strong band, whose members come
from Risør
in southern Norway, are in the UK to take part in a series of
competitions, seminars and workshops.
Formed
in 1948, the Risør Skolemusikkorps is made up of musicians aged
between 11 and 19 years of age. They will be conducted by Rune
Hansen. This looks like an opportunity to enjoy more than just a castle
visit, which is always good (see my blog of 7 November 2015).
