Hastings Meteorological Station was set up in 1875, and was one of the earliest local weather stations in the country. The main part of the station is up in White Rock Gardens, but this kiosk on the promenade is what caught my eye many moons ago (see the Hastings Borough Council website for more information).
The kiosk displays all the information gathered at the main station and Met Office forecasts, together with graphs and displays, I'm impressed!
