If you've wandered along the seafront this week you'll have noticed that the Crazy Golf course appears busier than usual from quite early in the day. Well, this is because this weekend sees the
World Crazy Golf Championships (
website) return this weekend, and there's plenty of practice going on, with entrants from around the world, as far away from here as Australia and the USA!
From tomorrow (Thursday 6th) the crazy golf course will not be open to the general public, until it reopens after the Champiopnships finish Sunday evening.
However, don't be alarmed if you want to play as the Pirate and Adventure golf courses will still be open to all throughout this period. There will be many excellent players competing in the championships, don't be surprised at the efficiency displayed, and also a few also-rans, like myself, but please don't laugh at us, we're trying our best. £thousands in prize money across many categories, good luck to all those who enter.
