Following Gulzar's recently laying off Hastings Pier's 2-person maintenance team, and his lack of insurance for the structure of the Pier (he refuses to provide evidence of insurance, even to his friends at Hastings Observer and to the Hastings MP, let alone to concerned locals!), here is evidence that he is an absolute failure when it comes to maintaining the Pier, sadly.
Hastings Borough Council are aware, let's see what happens...

as its a public place the insurance should be visable for public. otherwise how do we know if something happens we will be covered if we were injured on it. hes a total golden idiot and it should of never been sold to him
ReplyDeleteThere's a difference between public liability insurance and general maintenance. I don't think he could operate the pier without the former, but the latter isn't compulsory. Some people and companies self-insure their properties if they want to accept the risk and have deep enough pockets.
