Now's the time to say Goodbye...
I've decided that now's the time to say "goodbye" for this blog, it is very unlikely that I shall write on here again, probably. Anyway, it's been a blast, I loved sharing research I've undertaken, and exploring. But I'm getting on now. However, I shall continue sharing things on the Stacey Marie (RX134) facebook page, because, although she is no longer with us, I would hate for that page to discontinue, and for her to be forgotten, many thanks for following me folks, cheers!

RX134 Stacey Marie in Hastings facebook page alert
I'm trusting it was just spam, but I've had a message that the Stacey Marie's facebook account (facebook) will be closed down because of a copyright infringement. I never knowingly infringe copyright, and on a couple of occasions when I have been contacted by offended folk I have corrected immediately with apologies.
I have sent a message to Meta believing the message to be spam, there was no way I was going to click on what was suggested I click on by the message.
I trust this is just someone trying to mess up my page and IT, and the page will continue, as I dearly wish to keep the memory of Stacey Marie RX134 alive.
However, should it be serious I am sorry, but it will mean that facebook/Meta doesn't want to keep the memory of this old fishing boat alive, and I haven't a clue why?!? 🤔
I will keep her alive on this Steve on Hastings blogspot whatever, fingers crossed folk. 🤞

Don't be a Tosser! Anti-litter Campaign.
Hastings Borough Council are again in the middle of an anti-litter campaign, for example on posters, facebook and twitter (wants to be called X), and it's amusing they've returned to the Don't be a Tosser message, well it amuses me! Indeed, it's a phrase I've often used and an ex-colleague (R.I.P.) used to tell me how much she missed my using this, well, it's better than the alternative. And a wee bit more litter humour in the image below, I do have a sense of humour!

Enjoying a coffee, and the view in Rock-a-Nore
A lovely day, and to get even warmer tomorrow, apparently...
Reasonably early doors, sitting outside the Dolphin...
You may have worked out by now that I am one of the two regulars who were involved in her restoration, and, now annually, who repaint the Stacey Marie, RX134, though you may not be aware that she is now 'retired' and lives under the aegis of the Fishermens' Museum, AND has her own facebook page, to which people are welcome to add photographs of her, and whose 'likes' of the page would be very welcome, cheers!
Oh yes, and I thought I'd take a photograph of the RNLI lifeboat station on my way home, just to wallow in the blue sky!
