THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

Many thanks for recent comments, I am fit and healthy, touch wood, fingers crossed (though I'm not superstitious, honest 😉), but I'm having trouble posting comments to my own blog, oh well! It's happened before, no doubt I'll sort it out some time, though I suspect it's something to do with a Windows update, so don't hold your breath, cheers!

Thank you to Emergency Services Plus...

I took this photograph of the Lifeboat Station this morning, although the shop remains closed, the lifeboats and crews are very much ready to meet any alarm call received. Indeed, our thanks must go to all the Emergency Services, the RNLI Lifeboat, Coastguard, all NHS Workers and Pharmacy Staff, Police and Fire & Rescue, Volunteers, Street Cleaners and Refuse Collectors, Bus and Train Drivers and Conductors, Delivery Drivers and Shop Workers, in fact to anyone working to keep the economy and services carrying on as seamlessly as possible. Much Respect!

Hastings Foodbank: "Many thanks!"

Hastings Foodbank has published a 'thank you' message (facebook) to all those good enough to donate to them this month: "We've been overwhelmed by your generosity towards local people facing crisis situations." They continue to report that from today their volunteers will be taking 2 weeks off, consequently, there will be no more donations collected during that time, however, please "donate again in January if you can" as they will very likely remain busy in the New Year due to cold weather.

They end with "Merry Christmas - we hope you have a joyful, peaceful one!"

And many thanks to Hastings Foodbank and you too, for helping local people who require help to feed themselves and their families, often even when they are working!
