Hastings Borough Council Election in More Detail...


I'll give the details of the first 4 in each ward, mostly Labour and Conservative Party candidates, but for full results go to the HBC website:

Ashdown: M Edwards (Con) 30% of vote (elected); 
                  S Marlow-Eastwood (Con) 26% (elected); 
                  L Coan (Lab) 17%; 
                  S Thorpe (Lab) 17%.

Baird:       M Turner (Lab) 30% (elected);
                  W Davies (Lab) 29% (elected); 
                  T Fawthrop (Con) 18%;
                  P Pragnell (Con) 16%.

Braybrooke: S Beaney (Lab) 33% (elected);
                       D Sabetian (Lab) 31% (elected);
                       M Charlesworth (Con) 11%; 
                       J Grigg (Con) 10%.

Castle J Rogers (Lab) 24% (elected);
              L Levane (Lab) 23% (elected); 
              N Perry (LibDem) 17%; 
              S Gregory Rayment (LibDem) 10%.

Central St Leonards: R Cox (Lab) 28% (elected);
                                     T Webb (Lab) 27% (elected);
                                     S Clarke (Con) 12%;

Conquest: J Rankin (Con) 28% (elected);

Overall:  Labour 50% of vote in Hastings;
               Conservatives 32%;
               Greens 10%;
               Lib Dems 8%;
               All others in total less than 1%.

* Matt Lynch was suspended from the Conservative Party for allegedly making up his military history (Observer).

Labour retain Hastings Borough Council, it appears!


It looks like no change on Hastings Borough Council, according to the BBC...
