This morning's sky

Sadly, I do not have photographic equipment that could do justice to the beauty of the sky this morning looking over the Channel, but these were the three bright celestial objects that showed up. Plus, crystal clear, and the light reflected by the moon shimmering over the water added to the delightful image, and a couple of fishing boats' lights present too, as I wandered along between 05.40 and 05.50 hours.

Such natural beauty really is free to admire, ooh! And I found this film on youtube from the early hours too, though, sadly, not from Hastings beach, which was much clearer and much more dramatic in my opinion, may be cloudier tomorrow...

The Jungle Moved to Hastings Beach?!?

If you wondered where all the tents from the Calais Jungle moved to! Yes, we appear to have our own 'jungle' on the beach in front of Debenhams... 😕

Movement on the Beach

Now that the 2 new groynes are in place to the east of the Pier, the annual moving pebbles from the east to the west of the beach is being facilitated by 4 trucks and a bulldozer...

There you go, a nice pile of pebbles!

Then the bulldozer enters the fray to flatten the piles... I had a wee surprise watching this yesterday as the driver of the bulldozer waved at me! It was someone I know, obviously, Graham, who I'd forgotten had told me a couple of months ago that he would be working on the coastal protection scheme here, you just can't hide from anyone in Hastings!
