This morning, following a break-in in George Street in the old town, Police everywhere! That is, police blocking off West Street, behind where the break-in took place to the right, police cars at each road exit, the suspects may still be in West Street apparently. An increase of break-ins is rife right now, and local police have recently suggested it's mostly drug-related crime by local youths.
Though someone has just suggested to me on facebook that it isn't 'youths' offering stolen goods in the old town, many thanks, the police may have to re-think their theory!
Meanwhile the Sheps dray that had delivered to the Anchor Inn is blocked-in and cannot move, such is life...
