Today, the 1st of October 2019, is again the International Day of Older Persons (United Nations website), which provides "an opportunity to highlight the important contributions that older people make to society and raise awareness of the opportunities and challenges of ageing in today's world."
East Sussex County Council has a page on its website to celebrate the day, and an events programme too (website). Us older folk should enjoy our day! 😉
