So, after a whiff of a settlement the conductors of Southern Railway (RMT union) are going on strike for two days this week: tomorrow, Tuesday 3rd, and on Thursday 5th. For Hastings, it looks like the Ashford (laughingly called) 'service' will be hit the most. Of course, there may be a knock on effect on Wednesday and Friday too, but fingers crossed not...
